Kate Cowan has dedicated her dynamic career to supporting individuals and communities through her work with the Ontario Public Service (OPS), its’ agencies, and as a committed volunteer.
Always looking to challenge the status quo and take on meaningful ventures, she has supported enterprise-wide transformational strategies in several ministries, including Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ministry of Education and the Ontario Women’s Directorate. Kate is currently the Manager of the OPS-wide Public Service Renewal project.
Outside of work, Kate has provided guidance to her community previously as the vice-chair of her son’s daycare and as the strategic planning chair for a community services organization supporting adults with disabilities.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from McMaster University, and a Masters Certificate in Risk Management and Business Performance from York University.
