Online Mother’s Day Auction

Mother's Day Banner

Nellie’s Online Mother’s Day Auction www.nelliesmarketplace.com  is a unique community event featuring a wide and eclectic array of gifts, ranging from novelty and household items, baked goods, dinners/entertainment, gift certificates, travel packages, services and much, much more. Donated gifts are placed online for sale to the highest bidder through our dedicated website. The Auction begins on April 1st and runs until April 29th at noon & we are happy to include Nellie’s blank greeting cards if this is a Mother’s Day gift for your mom!

One hundred per cent of the proceeds will go directly to support the women and children at Nellie’s. This includes providing food, transportation, and the essential programs and services that women and their children need.

Since 1973, with the help from our community, Nellie’s has helped to rebuild the lives of over 15,000 women and their children fleeing violence and homelessness. But with government funding frozen for the past five years, we must raise the necessary funds to ensure that we help as many women and children as we can.

Thanks to thousands of our friends and supporters online who spread the word, we were able to raise over $5,000.00 in our Online Holiday Auction! For Mother’s Day, we hope to raise $6,000.00. But we can’t do it alone.

If you are able to donate a new item, gift certificate or service,  we will be happy to recognize your goodwill through our publications including our newsletter, website, Annual Report, and our Facebook and Twitter networks.  We are adding new items every day!  You can help to end violence and abuse for all women and children by bidding in our Online Mother’s Day Auction or making a donation today. Please contact helen@nellies.org or call 416-461-0769 to donate.
